Our client is an immensely creative and innovative research and development company which just seems to come up with brilliant ideas for some of the neatest high-tech electronic gadgets on planet Earth. You already know who they are, though you may not know them by name. Why not give some thought to joining the team?

The company designs and engineers high-profile, portable, hand-held consumer electronics products which are known and loved pretty much everywhere.  Why?  Because they have a whole bunch of very smart and dedicated people on board who love the excitement of thinking cutting-edge thoughts and doing leading-edge work.

You know who you are.

Lean Thinking to Inspire Lean Thinkers in the New Year

These three short quotes are all from one individual, a person who is one of my personal favorite “Lean” thinkers, though I doubt that he would actually describe himself as such. But he’s been, and continues to be, one of the greatest agents of change I’ve ever encountered.

So ask yourself, before the New Year begins:

Am I truly a change agent? Do I make things better? Can I make things better? Do I want to? Honestly?

And then please read these quotes once or twice. Think about them. Take them to heart. And then just go ahead and do the things you know you need and want to do in 2011. Happy New Year! Adam Zak

“Almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

”Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
