Great post, Adam! This is also a great time to get an accountability team together. Set regular check-ins and move forward towards what you need and want with help. Traumatic times call for support, motivation and momentum. It’s also a great time to re-assess and take stock: are you pursuing what really drives you?
It’s interesting that in pursuit of great career opportunities executives all too often wind up making poor personal choices. And when the job blows up what are they left with? Might be a pretty good time to ask “why?” five times in your personal goal-setting-and-pursuit context.
